12/3 Day of the Surgery

The surgery is today at 1:30. Lorrie said she rested good considering the amount of morphine they gave her through the night. Alicia spent the night with her and helped her. The doctor said they were going to give her some intravenous nutrition because she hasn't had water or food now since Sunday. I'll be updating her situation for all of over the course of the day. Again we thank all of you for your continued prayers and support.

Father God, we come before you with a request, a request of healing, and a request of a super natural miracle which only you can do.
We ask Father God that you will guide the surgeon’s hands, sharpen his mind giving him super natural wisdom.
We lay Lorrie at the foot of the cross; we give her to you for complete healing!
Father God, thank you for placing a blanket of peace on Lorrie and her loved ones.
Show your love and mercies… make yourself real to all.

In Jesus name we pray!

We love you Lorrie Lou.

Walked into the room this morning found Alicia washing her Moms hair. She wanted to make sure she looks good for surgery. Lorrie's spirits are good and she gave me a big smile when I came in this morning. She has an amazing attitude and a smile that lights up the room.

They wull takeing her to pre-op at 12:00. Her room is filled with family and friends and many flowers. She is drawing strength from everyone. She is in great spirits right now. They have decided to move us to a suite on the same floor that is incredibly huge. Pull out bed, dining table, kitchen area, and a wonderful view. We will be going there post-op.

Dear Lorrie & Scott,

I will continue to pray and pray and pray. You DO have an amazing family and I know Lorrie, you are surrounded by LOVE. Please call me after things settle down. I would love to come out there for a quick visit whenever things are convenient. I will continue to lift you up in prayer and I can't wait for you Lorrie to get home so you can be all comfy in your own home.

Hello everyone. I would like to thank the many people that have supported our family through this crisis. Although the outcome wasn't what we were expecting, we are not throwing in the towel. Actually we are rolling up our sleeves and getting ready to fight this evil disease with every thing we have. Lorrie was able to walk 20 feet today and I am really proud of her. She still has a smile on her face. Lorrie would love to see everyone but her weakened condition has forced the doctors to ask that visitors be limited. I will let you know when they feel she can see visitors again.
