For the record, Lorrie's pathology lab reports are in and it appears that the cancer she had in her stomach almost two years ago Adenocarcinoma, is showing it's ugly face again in the tumor they had found on her colon. The reason the surgeon didn't remove it was because he felt he would end up hurting her. Her physical condition just wouldn't allow it at this time. It was last night that I told Lorrie and Alicia the news from the surgeon that the test were conclusive about the Tumor. It was a very difficult thing to do to have to tell someone you love that a very terrible disease is rearing it's ugly head again. We all have ways of reacting to news that directly involves us and most of you know that if the news was directed about me, I would have flipped that hospital bed on its back. Lorrie just looked into my eyes and in agreement decided to move on to the next phase whatever it might be. I gave her my word I wouldn't leave one stone unturned that might help us beat this disease. I am currently scheduling consultations with two other highly recommended Oncologist for the best suggestions on where we go from here. I am surfing the internet myself in hopes of finding more information on possible alternative procedures to her condition. I would invite anyone that has heard of any treatments or procedures to email them to me at hseaton2u@earthlink.net and I will consider them all.

Day Three
But meanwhile, she has managed to get out of bed and walk the entire pod where we are staying. Still in some obvious pain but this woman is a soldier and she just continues to push's on through it. We hope maybe tomorrow to get our first drop of water in seven days. She continues to amaze me with her positive attitude. She again thanks everyone for the wonderful words of encouragement that everyone is writing on her blog. God Bless....

I wish you guys where here or I could fly out some of our oncologists here in my hospital.... they have done some Miraculous things. A nurse with stage three lung cancer survived 5 more years when they told her she had 6 months to live b/c of our oncologists. We are praying for you out here in California and remember to trust in the lord, give him all your worries and fears b/c he is your father and will take all your burdens away... Love you! :) Henson family... and Barbara!
Aunt Lorrie,
My students and I prayed for you this morning. Children's prayers are SO powerful! They all send you their love, as do Ryan and I.
Thinking about you -

Nicole
