She's Home

We got Mom home tonight. I am so excited to roll over in bed and see her face rather than that pesky Labrador of mine laying on her pillow. :-) We have alot of work ahead of us to get her body packed with the nutrition she will need for any treatment we decide we will do. The house is packed with lots of organic fruits and vegetables for juicing and some superfood nutrition supplement her Aunt Julie provided for us. I will be keeping her daily prognosis updated for all of you as well as the treatment results we have ahead. I cant begin to tell you how wonderful all of you have been and such an encouragement to us while we were going through these daily challenges. We never at any time felt as though we were going it alone. As I said in my earlier post, that it is amazing to see our friends and relatives circle the wagons and show such incredible support to us. Each and everyone of you is very special to us and we will never forget it. I would also like to give special thanks to a doctor Ben Evans who is the resident physician at the hospital. Each time we would end up at the hospital over the past few months, he has always been there for Lorrie to see to her needs. Sometimes doctors have a tendency to be locked into a regimented day to day routine probably due to the many patients they see, but this doctor took the time to show that other side of himself that was compassionate and truly caring. An amazing doctor and I consider him a true friend. Would also like to thank Pastor Brian and his wife Pam for bringing dinner out to us tonight and for visiting us so many times while we were there. That was so helpful and considerate.

Well it's late and time for me to roll into bed with my best friend knowing I don't have to be woken to a cold nose anymore. With my sleeves rolled up and ready to get started on the road to recovery tomorrow, I'll say goodnight and God Bless you all
