It's late Monday night and Lorrie is resting along side Alicia in her bed. The past few nights have been hard because her pain continues to balance itself with the medication she's taking and we just keep increasing the dosage. Not sure why but she is unable to walk now which is either from the pain in her abdomen or the edema she has in her legs. Seems each day her condition worsens and her cries become louder. We were given a good day on Saturday and was able to get her out of the house for a few hours and took her to Hobby Lobby in north Scottsdale so she could find the products to make a rose covered cross that she had been wanting to make. She came home and got the glue gun out and created a beautiful piece. A florist for over twenty years she has never lost her designing talents. My brother Jeff and his wife Julie from Denver are flying in this week to spend time with us and we all look forward to seeing them. I hope we can have a couple of quality days while they are here. Lorrie wanted me to tell everyone she reads all the post here at her blog and that you all are very special to her. God Bless

Lorrie....I send you love beyond words from all of us. Words fail me sometimes..if you could believe that..but they do. I wish I could take your pain away and give back to you what has been taken, but I can't...and we are all here praying for you and your family.
I pray for God grace beyond measure for you..and know that He is by your side even when at times it may seems like His not at the most difficult times. No one has walked in your shoes and really knows what you feel or had to handle...other than those close to you that have gone through this battle with you. I pray that you feel His presences and strength that carries you when you having a hard time. Love you pretty lady with a smile that brings joy to every ones life...I know it has mine. Always in my heart.
love,
Teresa
My thoughts & prayers are with all of you! Blessings - love you Lorrie!
Hi Lorrie, I don't know why I just found out how to leave a message for you to read but here I am. I want to thank you for your prayers for Crystal during her battle with cacer and have been wanting to tell you she had another transplant on Thanks Giving and came back home right before her little ones birthday on December 23rd, Crystal is doing well and I do know God hears and answers prayers and meets us where we are at in whatever it is we need, so I continue to pray for you and your family.
Ps I remember the taste of that fruit dip you shared with us at work, yummy.
In case you are don't who this is it's Michele De La Cruz from PFS and SCC
Hi Lorrie,
