I couldn't believe the amount of people that came. I told Brian the minister, that I had no idea how to prepare for how many people would come but said it could be 100 or maybe even 200 people. Last count was 317 people and 220 chairs.
When the service was over and I stood up and looked to the back of the sanctuary, I couldn't believe what I saw. People were standing along the walls and all the way back into the forayer in the back of the church. Our entire family would like to thank everyone for coming out in the middle of the day to honor Lorrie. It was an amazing tribute and show of love from all of you. Would also like to thank Mark and Angela Karp from Angelic Grove in Phoenix for the most amazing floral arrangements at the alter and the beautiful center pieces. With Lorrie being a florist for so many years I am glad to not only have the best floral group do her flowers but a pair of great life long friends as well. Also would like to thank the members of our church for all the dinners they prepared for us while we were taking care of Lorrie. And the wonderful people that helped in the preparation of the deserts at her memorial. I couldn't have done it without your help.

And a Celebration it Was
It's been ten days since Lorrie passed and it still seems like yesterday. Ironically almost each day someone that has read my post labeled 1:43 is seeing some very interesting events unfolding in their lives. After searching Google for the numbers 143 and it's meaning and finding 125,000,000 results, I would suggest if the numbers manifest themselves in your day to day life, pay close attention and possibly something quite amazing may just happen to you too. I have been told by so many that they have enjoyed keeping up with Lorrie's blog and that I should continue to write. Unfortunately for now I seemed to have lost my motivation to continue. Not to say that I wont have anything to add to the site because I think I will in time. But I have decided to focus on my two kids and help them continue to achieve all they can in life. We are planning a nice getaway possibly to the pacific for some good R&R and a chance to collect ourselves and re-group. From all of us to all of you, thank you again for the years of support you have shown us with this battle we faced. God Bless you all....... Scott 143

Thank you Scott! You have done an amazing job of keeping all of us posted on what has happened. I know I have fed on the strength of your words. I'm not afraid to say that I will miss your post, it keeps Lorrie alive somehow. I amI also not afraid to say that it is selfish to expect you to continue. I know we will all miss hearing from you,but also know that you all need time to heal yourselves. Once again Thank you, your words have helped restore the faith in God that I was convinced was lost.
Thank you so much for the blogs that you have been so kind to share with us all. From them I was able to follow Lorrie and be with her through out her journey from afar! I too will miss the blogs that you have written but look forward to your healing and maybe some day I will log on here to do my "check" and there will be another one posted.
I have shared your 143 blog with so many and it was a life changing story for me as well. I have become more aware of my sourroundings and pay attention to the signs all around me!
Thank you Lorrie & Scott!
